We come from the North. From the forests and plains of China’s Northeast, where the tiger has long been a symbol of strength, spirit, and resilience. Dongbei is a land shaped by many cultures — Manchu, Mongolian, Korean, and Han — where traditions meet around the same table and food is bold, generous, and meant to be shared. 

Like Canada, the North teaches people something special. Life changes with the seasons, but people gather, cook, laugh, and take care of one another. Around a table, strangers become friends and meals become memories. Chubby Tiger was born from this northern spirit. Our story begins in China’s Northeast, but our table is open to the world.
